Export your memory from Gemini

Gemini keeps a Personal context settings page showing what it's learned about you — view and copy it directly, no prompting required.

1

Open Personal context settings

In Gemini, click the Settings gear (⚙️) in the bottom-left corner, then open Personal context. You'll see Memory (facts learned from past chats), Your Instructions (standing rules you've given it), and Saved info (things you've explicitly asked it to remember).

2

Copy what's stored

Copy everything shown across those sections. This becomes your portable profile, ready to paste into another service's import guide.

Google's official help center covers the equivalent import flow at this URL. The Settings → Personal context path for viewing/exporting is confirmed consistently across independent reporting rather than one single official 'how to export' article.

Import memory into Claude

Claude has an official, dedicated import tool built for exactly this — paste in a memory profile from anywhere and it does the rest.

1

Open Claude's import page

Anthropic built a page specifically for this migration.

2

Paste your memory profile

Paste your already-formatted memory profile into the import box and confirm. Claude parses it and stores the extracted facts as individual memory entries — this can take a little while to fully take effect.
